Carousell 向雙11節說「不」!

除了在網上宣傳,Carousell於11月7日走上香港最熱鬧的購物地點:銅鑼灣、尖沙咀及旺角,宣佈今年Carousell不會舉行任何雙十一的活動—Sale Not On。香港棟篤笑團體成員陳樂添穿上「11.11 Sale Not On」的廣告牌,向途人宣傳今年Carousell不會有雙十一優惠。

這個雙十一活動旨在宣傳Carousell全年度365日都有至抵價,與其坐在電腦前等雙十一優惠,Carousell用戶可以輕鬆享受這一天,做你想做的事,與朋友和家人一起過日子。Carousell每日都有至抵價,用戶可以等真正有需要的時候才作購買,而不是為了折扣而購入未必有需要的物品。什麼是「至抵價」?例如,Carousell上的Switch遊戲機是$2,000起,相比官網的$2,390 。

Hong Kong, 10 November 2020 — While e-commerce sites and physical retail shops have been marketing for their 11.11 sale immediately after their 10.10 sales ended, Carousell, one of the world’s largest marketplace,  has been preparing to announce that they do not have an 11.11 sale this year.

Besides a digital marketing campaign, Carousell took to the streets of three high-traffic districts Causeway Bay, Mong Kok, and Tsim Sha Tsui on 7 Nov to announce that there will be no 11.11 sale this year. Local comedian Chan Lok Tim (陳樂添) wore a sandwich board with “11.11 sale not on” written, as he calls out to the passersby apologising that Carousell is not having an 11.11 sale this year. 

The 11.11 Forever campaign aims to highlight the abundance of good deals all year round on Carousell. Instead of stressful moments camping at their computers, Carousell users can take it easy and spend the time resting or catching up with their loved ones. With 11.11 prices all year round, users can buy needed items as and when the need arises instead of giving into impulse buys. For example, an average price for Nintendo Switch is HK$2,000 compared to HK$2,390 on the official website.
